Union Labs, the leading sovereign interoperability layer, has forged a strategic alliance with Lava to kickstart an incentivized Remote Procedure Call (RPC) campaign.
As per a press release disclosed, this pioneering initiative, dubbed as ipRPC (incentivized public RPC), is set to feature a lucrative rewards pool amounting to $100,000 in token value. Through this collaboration, Lava will serve as the versatile RPC and access layer, facilitating seamless connectivity for users to Union’s testnet.
Union Labs’ Campaign for Community Growth
Following the anticipated summer debut of Union’s mainnet, node operators will have the opportunity to serve as Union RPC providers through Lava, streamlining access for developers via a centralized portal.
Campaign participants stand to earn a share of the rewards pool, which will be dispersed over a three-month period starting from the expected provisional launch date. Further specifics regarding the timeline will be unveiled in the second quarter.
Karel Kubat, Union Labs’ founder and CEO, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Lava’s adherence to our standards of security, speed, and reliability makes this collaboration a natural fit – one that benefits our entire community.”
Highlighting the significance of speed in Lava Network’s operations for Web3 applications, Kubat emphasized, “The rapidity at which Lava Network operates is crucial for Web3 applications, often necessitating numerous RPC calls for a single screen to function seamlessly and update data in real-time.”
Partnership with Lava for Enhanced UX
As per the release, Lava provides users with high-availability and low-latency access to a variety of blockchains. Leveraging geolocation, the network efficiently directs relays to the most suitable nodes, thereby enhancing the overall user experience.
Kubat underscored the paramount importance of speed and security, emphasizing that these aspects are crucial not only from a technical perspective, given RPC’s role in facilitating effective network interaction, but also in elevating user satisfaction and bolstering ecosystem growth.
Yair Cleper, co-founder and CEO of Lava, echoed this sentiment, stating, “As blockchain adoption continues to surge, access and interoperability emerge as pivotal factors for scaling onboarding. Lava and Union are united in our vision to empower developers to create without limitations.”
