A team member from the Shiba Inu ecosystem has provided a detailed guide, outlining step-by-step instructions for SHIB and BONE holders to acquire non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on Shibarium, the Layer 2 blockchain within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Shibarium has emerged as a central platform for diverse digital assets, particularly NFTs.
Shibarium-Based NFTs
Following Shibarium’s mainnet launch, numerous NFT collections have made their debut on the Layer 2 blockchain, enhancing the network’s functionality.
Among the NFTs introduced on Shibarium is the ColonelCoup collection, which officially went live on October 11, 2023. With a diverse array of NFT collections available on Shibarium, members of the Shiba Inu community are expressing interest in understanding the process of acquiring these digital assets.
Steps to Buying Shibarium NFTs
Due to the community’s interest, Shiba Inu marketing specialist Lucie has shared a guide on the X platform, outlining the steps necessary to purchase NFT collections on Shibarium.
According to Lucie, individuals interested in acquiring Shibarium NFTs should have Ethereum (ETH) and any Shiba Inu ecosystem asset, such as SHIB, BONE, or LEASH, in their wallet. In this guide, she utilized Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) as the recommended digital asset.
Lucie explained that the initial step involves users adding the Shibarium network to their Web 3.0 crypto wallet. This can be accomplished through the wallet’s browser extension. Users need to visit the Shib RPC address and select “add the Shibarium mainnet network.”
After successfully adding the network, the subsequent step involves users bridging their BONE tokens by visiting the Shibarium Staking platform.
Lucie further explained that once this step is completed, users can navigate various Shibarium-based NFT marketplaces, with Mantra Protocol being one of them. In these marketplaces, users can select their preferred NFTs and complete transactions using BONE.
The pricing of these NFT collections, as highlighted by Lucie, varies between 10 to 10,000 BONE tokens.
Lucie also outlined some advantages of acquiring Shibarium-based NFT collections, including low transaction fees. Notably, users are only required to pay a minimal fee, less than a cent ($0.01), for each transaction.
