OpenSea Embedded Wallet Feature Crosses a Milestone
In recent NFT news, the popular NFT marketplace OpenSea has introduced a user-friendly feature that enables individuals to sign up and create a wallet using only their email address.
As of the beginning of the month, more than 100,000 users have taken advantage of this option to create an embedded wallet.
OpenSea announced this innovative feature on January 9th, emphasizing that their new onboarding experience allows all users to establish an OpenSea account integrated with a self-custodied crypto wallet, all with just their email address—eliminating the need for separate browser extensions.
This wallet is seamlessly integrated with the OpenSea platform, providing users with the ability to buy, sell, send, and receive both cryptocurrencies and NFTs, manage their funds, and view transaction history on the blockchain.
It’s worth noting that the wallet supports all nine Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-based chains that are compatible with OpenSea. Additionally, users have the option to fund their wallets and purchase NFTs using credit or debit cards, further enhancing accessibility and convenience within the platform.
