Magic Eden and Helio Reveal Raffles Feature to Democratize NFT Pre-Sales

In today’s NFT updates, Helio, the Web3 payments platform, has introduced a new Raffles feature now accessible on the Magic Eden NFT marketplace. Helio’s user-friendly platform empowers creators to customize their Pre-Sales extensively, adjusting access and other settings to their liking.

This innovative addition aims to revolutionize highly anticipated Pre-Sales by ensuring fair and transparent allocation of spots across various communities. Notably, inclusivity is a cornerstone of Raffles, enabling participants to join Pre-Sales regardless of their time zone, thus breaking down barriers and fostering increased engagement.

One of the standout aspects of Raffles is its impartial selection process, wherein participants are chosen entirely at random. This approach eliminates any advantages for early participants, guaranteeing an equitable distribution of spots.

Moreover, Raffles isn’t limited to a single blockchain; it spans across major platforms such as Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Polygon. Consequently, creators can now access a wider audience base, amplifying their reach and impact.

“The interoperability across different blockchains creates fresh opportunities for creators to engage with diverse communities and optimize their sales potential within the crypto space.”

Helio and Magic Eden joined forces in June 2023 to establish a multi-chain presale platform catering to creators. Since then, they’ve facilitated numerous Pre-Sales for leading projects in the NFT realm, generating over $10 million in Pre-Sale revenue.

These projects encompass a variety of creators spanning Solana, Ethereum, and Ordinals, including prominent names like Bitcoin Ordinals, MixMobOrigin, and ZITX. Nick Lagusis, the Product Marketing Lead at Magic Eden, emphasized the significance of their partnership with Helio, stating that it has enabled them to offer unparalleled payment features within the industry.

Stijn Paumen, co-founder and CEO at Helio, highlighted how the new raffles feature provides a fair and accessible avenue for community members across Ordinals, Ethereum, and Solana to access highly sought-after digital collectibles.

What we write about

I want to save money. Will cryptocurrency work?

Cryptocurrency is essentially virtual money that operates in a decentralized manner, not through a bank but directly on multiple independent computers.

Every cryptocurrency has two main components: the units of digital exchange called “coins” and the network within which the exchange takes place. These units can be transferred between wallets and exchanged on exchanges. The networks in which these coins exist are called blockchains, which translates to “chains of blocks.”
