Bridgetower Middle East, a collaboration between Bridgetower Capital and Deus X Capital, has unveiled a digital asset platform in Abu Dhabi, specifically designed to serve institutional investors across the UAE and the broader Middle East region.

As per Arabian Business, the launch of Bridgetower ME marks a significant milestone in digital asset investment in the UAE, with a joint investment of $250 million from Bridgetower Capital and Deus X Capital dedicated to enhancing the digital asset infrastructure within the country.

Bridgetower ME Launches to Boost Digital Asset Sector in UAE

“Maintaining our commitment to global expansion and strategic partnerships with industry leaders, it’s truly an exceptional opportunity to witness the collaboration between Deus X and Bridgetower in establishing Bridgetower ME as a unified entity based in Abu Dhabi,” stated Cory Pugh, Chairman and CEO of Bridgetower.

“We hold the utmost admiration for the business culture and regulatory framework surrounding digital asset infrastructure in the UAE. We eagerly anticipate deploying our resources to foster innovation and introduce fresh prospects to the UAE market,” Pugh added.

Situated within the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), Bridgetower Middle East is poised to significantly elevate the growth trajectory of the digital asset sector not only within the UAE but also across the Middle East and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

With its comprehensive suite of services, Bridgetower Middle East will empower institutional clients to securely participate in staking activities while facilitating transactions across major blockchain networks.

Enhancing Blockchain and AI Capabilities

Bridgetower ME has also outlined plans to provide cutting-edge AI GPU services tailored for blockchain networks, thereby augmenting computational capabilities essential for both blockchain and AI applications, leveraging its specialized data center infrastructure.

Furthermore, the entity aims to bolster the blockchain ecosystem in the UAE by facilitating private equity investments and nurturing startup incubation initiatives.

As part of its strategic vision, Bridgetower ME intends to roll out a web3 commerce platform aimed at seamlessly integrating traditional businesses with digital assets. The company seeks to forge partnerships with leading global consumer brands, art markets, and sports organizations to foster widespread adoption of blockchain technology.

Tim Grant, from Deus X Capital, expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with Abu Dhabi to establish a company dedicated to propelling the country to the forefront of the global digital assets and fintech landscape.

“We eagerly anticipate Bridgetower ME’s involvement in ADGM’s mission of driving technological innovation and excellence, thereby solidifying Abu Dhabi’s position as a premier global hub for digital assets,” Grant remarked.

What we write about

I want to save money. Will cryptocurrency work?

Cryptocurrency is essentially virtual money that operates in a decentralized manner, not through a bank but directly on multiple independent computers.

Every cryptocurrency has two main components: the units of digital exchange called “coins” and the network within which the exchange takes place. These units can be transferred between wallets and exchanged on exchanges. The networks in which these coins exist are called blockchains, which translates to “chains of blocks.”
