Billionaire biohacker and longevity advocate, Bryan Johnson, is making his foray into the realm of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) through a Solana airdrop.
Johnson’s Blueprint project has joined forces with DRiP and digital artist Degen Poet to craft a collection of NFTs, which has been distributed as a complimentary airdrop to DRiP token holders, according to posts circulating on the social media platform X.
The Blueprint collection comprises three unique pieces, and DRiP holders had the opportunity to claim a random collectible with various levels of rarity, spanning from common to legendary.
Johnson conveyed his excitement about the collaboration on the X platform, highlighting the symbiosis between the cryptocurrency space and his longevity endeavors. He also expressed his gratitude for the warm reception he received from the crypto community.
DRiP Haus CEO welcomes Johnson to Solana
DRiP Haus co-founder and CEO, Vibhu Norby, extended a warm welcome to Bryan Johnson in his own post on the X platform, emphasizing that the artwork has now been “forever immortalized” on DRiP.
Norby subsequently provided an update to his followers regarding the progress of the new NFTs. He disclosed that around 22,000 Bryan Johnson collectibles from the Solana airdrop had already been claimed, equivalent to roughly 50 collectibles per minute. He also hinted at the anticipation of even more claims as more users around the world wake up to the opportunity.
DRiP account holders were granted access to the airdrop either through a free invite code or by joining with a 0.1 SOL fee on their wallet balance. The airdrop, conducted in real-time, covered gas fees, and the collectibles were appropriately tagged to indicate their origin within users’ wallets.
Airdrops are a popular method for distributing tokens or NFTs to specific blockchain or protocol users within the crypto community. Typically, users must take certain actions to manually claim these tokens, which are then transferred to their personal wallets. While the tokens may or may not hold significant monetary value on the secondary market, associations with celebrities like Bryan Johnson undoubtedly help raise awareness about the airdrop.
