Azuki and Arbitrum Join Hands on Global Anime Network

Today in NFT updates, the Arbitrum Foundation, Weeb3 Foundation, and Chiru Labs have jointly unveiled AnimeChain, aiming to establish a community-driven online anime ecosystem.

Their declaration states that they aim to “propel anime into the forefront of the Web3 revolution by establishing a cohesive anime ecosystem catering to creators and enthusiasts alike.”

This network will encompass original and third-party anime content, NFTs, gaming elements, and merchandise offerings.

Weeb3 Foundation spearheads the development of AnimeChain, leveraging Web3 technology to create an anime-centric network.

Chiru Labs, on the other hand, is a tech entity crafting the decentralized anime realm via Azuki.

Both entities will collaborate closely with the Arbitrum Foundation “to inaugurate a new chapter in anime fandom, leveraging web3 technology to enrich the anime experience for millions globally.”

The statement elucidated that AnimeChain’s objective is to establish the infrastructure necessary for a worldwide, on-chain anime network governed by its creators and users.

Furthermore, the initiative endeavors to cultivate an immersive anime encounter with heightened fan interaction across all fronts.

By harnessing Arbitrum, AnimeChain aspires to onboard millions of anime enthusiasts into the Web3 realm, as stated by the partners.

What we write about

I want to save money. Will cryptocurrency work?

Cryptocurrency is essentially virtual money that operates in a decentralized manner, not through a bank but directly on multiple independent computers.

Every cryptocurrency has two main components: the units of digital exchange called “coins” and the network within which the exchange takes place. These units can be transferred between wallets and exchanged on exchanges. The networks in which these coins exist are called blockchains, which translates to “chains of blocks.”
